I have the opportunity to solve from serious issues to crisis situation by applying the principles of crisis management. You have to be fast, effective and efficient. Interim Management also gives me the opportunity to get to know different style of working environments and the inner culture of a variety of organizations and industries.
It was a great opportunity to utilize and put in practice my long-term experience having worked in project management and for a strategic management consulting firm. It is interesting to work for Clients from various industries and support them by incorporating in my expertise.
As Interim Manager the working time is flexible, so I can combine work and family, for which I am happy.
It made more sense for me to take on Interim Management projects at the time of economic crisis in 2008 - 2009. At that time, I became an external Project Manager for an organization I was employed at for number of years.
I managed large scale projects that companies realize the tasks are exceptionally challenging, especially when they were lacking available resources and the required know-how. In such circumstances and considering the different stakeholders involved, it was important and in their interest to have “an external” Interim Manager handle these projects.
My aim is to introduce a quality documentation system in the company, implement the requirements of the new standards and to guide system through certification process.
As a Special Projects Manager, I was responsible for the construction of new production plants across the client’s Central Eastern Europe operations. From selecting suitable locations, negotiating incentives of an investment, buying land, running the plants construction development phase, transferring and purchasing the technology to hiring plant management and initiating start of production.
The cooperation with AGIM have led me to my first Interim project, where I fulfilled my long standing dream to participate on development and manufacturing construction equipment. The cooperation was perfectly managed from professional and human point of view - from initial project brief upto project evaluation and discussing further opportunities.
It is good to have an experienced partner, who helps minimise the risks, deals with the Clients and gives professional and methodical support.
