Turnaround of a manufacturing business (loss to profit)
Challenge
Our client, a world renowned manufacturer of doors, was undergoing a crisis after the relocation of its multiple European subsidiaries, whether production or business, to the Czech Republic. The process of the relocation from local markets got out of control and resulted in failing production and supply chain, creating risks losing suppliers and customers and perpetual financial losses.
After internal solution has failed, the company’s global management in the US decided to contact AGIM to seek solution before closing down the plant or selling the business as a whole.
Success
The AGIM Interim Manager at the initial stage introduced a recovery plan suggesting to develop actual operations. After accomplishing that, he got the mandate to execute his plan, which resulted in a successful turnaround of both the commercial organisation and production, both operating successfully to-date.
